Life's Meaning Dreams are fragile, will they last? Will future regret my past? Decisions i make each day, opportunities that go away. Wrong decisions, hurting friends. twisting path that never ends. Do something right, get some praise, it will not last, count the days. Mistakes last, triumphes not, praise of man, easily bought. Like a river, flowing free, twists and turns, so rapidly. Count an instant, nothing lasts - many changes have passed. Time is fleeing, catch it quick. Do something amd make it stick. Try not to your loved ones, blame - acts you will recall in shame. Things eternal, not undone - focus less on having fun. This is life and what a thrill - thoughts like these, can even kill. Do not hate rules, see the need to protect you, and to lead. Some wrong choices, all will make. Rules prevent, so rarely break. Not a wall, but just a gate - be safe inside, keep out hate. Of rebellion, do you think? For any reason, any link? To this course why do you turn? Many lessons left to learn. God will guide you if you ask, this is your appointed task. Knowledge plenty, come and take - wisdom drink, infinite lake. Get your water, drink your fill. Things around you, see you will. Things that were hidden before, invisible now no more. Eyes now opened, look around - everywhere, answers found. Belief in God makes much clear, take some time, not just a year. Studying in His True Word, not understood when first heard. Slowly things fall into place - take your lifetime, not a race. Once this Truth, you discover, use your life, show another. (c)1998 by Robert H. Harrison
