How I Need You


When have I ever needed someone
so much and so completely?
The pain if me you ever did shun
would much more than defeat me.

I think of you while we're apart.
I see the depth of my need.
Please realize you have my heart,
not just in word, but in deed.

Each time I check for word from you
my heart quickens deep inside.
For no one else, just the one who
at my tender words has cried.

Only you do my words deeply touch. 
I so want to express my feeling.
And your words affect me so much,
you make each new day appealing.

I have grown to depend on you
like none ever before.
With every day, and this is true -
I grow to need you more.

I hope you fully comprehend -
you make my life so full.
I want you only, my will won't bend.
My love will not grow cool.
