Pulsing music, pounding rhythm -
lose yourself inside the beat.
All human pains are forgotten -
stop your hurt, forget defeat.

Nusic helps you forget hurting,
pounds the pain right from your brain.
No emotion, human feeling,
sometimes escape or go insane.

Life can suck like nothing other,
pain builds up and gets you down.
Living sometimes seems a bother,
in your troubles nearly drown.

Times like this others help little
if they don't look in your eyes.
Will not notice how you're hurting,
ignore your lows but see your highs.

To have a close friend one is lucky,
who always knows, feel how you may.
One who shares your joys and sorrows,
never pushed out or turned away.
