Someone to share
all of your dreams
Someone to aid
in all your schemes
Someone who cares
about each thing
that you will do

No one with which
to share your dreams
No one who cares
about your schemes
No one who even
notices things
that you have done

The sky is blue
or is it grey?
No one will speak
or will they say -
That you are weak
or strong today
which will it be?

Your life will be
that you will make
Then figure in
a dash of fate
Then be sure to
thoroughly shake
it carefully

There will be no
one else to blame
Yours will be the 
pride and the shame
Know that your life
entirely
is up to you
