The Heartbreaker once lived a girl blameless and pure and many boys her face did lure selfless nature she made boys whole but while she helped she harmed their soul for in the help she made them think they had her love and could not sink but love she lacked hers not the fault they but assumed with bad result for when they healed and sought with zest their healer sweet she did protest she could not know their feelings due or would correct and tell them true she sought only to be their friend but often this would be the end so she was hurt and took their pain as truth came out they lost their gain they love her yet their hearts do mend new boys attract she to them tends her curse and yet to them brings hope they gain new faith their lives gain scope (c)2002 by Robert H.
