New Beginning


For a new beginning,
I would do, oh, so much!
To but change who I am -
to taste life fresh and full!

To cease mourning, and then -
to create what I crave!
Regain my hold on life,
and reclaim what was lost…

Experience what happens,
consequences ignored;
living wild and carefree,
escape supervision!

So old… for far too long -
finally act my age!
Losing myself in youth,
forgetting the future!
